With the DT XL cooling tower Gohl have extended their standard range in response to requirements such as limited space. In terms of use and efficacy it corresponds to the DT cooling tower, but offers a 15% higher cooling performance for the same floor space requirement.
Applications for cooling towers – open circuit operation
A DT-line cooling tower can be installed where the floor space is limited but the height is variable.
In application and mode of operation the dt XL doesn’t make a difference to its “little brother”.
Indeed its cooling capacity is 15 % higher than the cooling capacity of the standard tower.
Requirements
- no high demand on the quality of the cooling water
- initial costs more important than maintenance costs
- low cooling water temperatures (approx. 5K above wet-bulb temperature)
